The engagement is announced between Charles Patrick, youngest son of the late Brigadier Michael Gordon-Watson, OBE, MC, and of Mrs Gordon-Watson, of East Blagdon, Cranborne, Dorset, and Katherine Genevieve, only daughter of Mr Patrick Reardon, of Montgomery, Wales, and Mrs Humphrey Wood, of Roborough, Devon, and Parsons Green, London.
