The engagement is announced between Simon, younger son of the late Mr Michael P. Staveley-Smith and of Mrs Staveley-Smith, of Felton, Northumberland, and Elizabeth, daughter of Mr and Mrs Malcolm Tweedie, of Wilmslow, Cheshire.
