The engagement is announced between Nicholas Alwyn, son of Mr Simon Coates, of Sutton St Edmund, Lincs, and Mrs Jayne Coates, of Melbourne, Australia, and Catherine, daughter of the late Mr Anthony Rummery-Blackford, and of Mrs Margaret Blackford, of Melbourne, Australia.
