The engagement is announced between Kevin, middle son of Mr and Mrs Dennis McElroy, of Monterey, California, and Chloe, daughter of Mr Michael Sladden, of London and formerly of New York, and the late Mrs Elspeth Sladden, formerly of London and New York.
