The engagement is announced between Sam, elder son of Mr and Mrs William Straker-Nesbit, of Battersea, London, and Laura, daughter of Mr Kevin Illingworth, of Bollington, Cheshire, and Mrs Barbara Illingworth, of Bramhall, Cheshire.
