The engagement is announced between Samuel, elder son of Mr Terry Kirby and the late Mrs Cathern Kirby, of Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, and Georgina, elder daughter of the late Mr Andrew Smart and of Mrs Smart, of Hengrave, Suffolk.
