The engagement is announced between Thomas Joseph Lars, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Cooper, of Markyate, Hertfordshire, and Helena Elsie Millidge, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Timothy Crabtree, of Thame, Oxfordshire.
