The engagement is announced between George, younger son of Mr and Mrs Richard Crosbie Dawson, of Great Barrington, Gloucestershire, and Elinor, daughter of Mr Ian Richards, of Horninghold, Leicestershire, and Mrs Richard Foulkes, of Hambleton, Rutland.
