The engagement is announced between Edward, elder son of the late Mr Robin Davidson and of Mrs Karen Davidson, of Ipswich, Suffolk, and Belinda, daughter of Mr Martin Ritchie and the late Mrs Jane Ritchie, of Great Dunmow, Essex.
