The engagement is announced between Jeremy, second son of Mr and Mrs Timothy Simon, of Wyck Rissington, Gloucestershire, and Kristina, elder daughter of Mr Leland Barker and Mrs Susan Ladd, of Buckfield, Maine, USA.
