William Arthur Peete, 21st April 2013, aged 92, peacefully after a long illness steadfastly borne. Linguist, pilot, diplomat, author, economist and sportsman. Mourned by wife Shirley Ann, sons Johnny and Robert, Beth and Patrick, sisters Pat and Audrey, brother Michael and so many friends and colleagues. Funeral Wednesday 8th May. Contributions greatly received by Unicef.
