The engagement is announced between Symon, son of the late Mr Desmond Stratton and of Mrs Maria-Lys Stratton, of Beaulieu, Hampshire, and Alice, younger daughter of Colonel and Mrs Michael Bromley Gardner, of Charlton, Wiltshire.
