The engagement is announced between Captain Charles Edmund Frederick Russell, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, elder son of Mr and Mrs Martin Russell, of Barnet, London, and Miss Rebecca Kate Johnston, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Richard Johnston, of Bricklehampton, Worcestershire.
