The engagement is announced between Major Lewis Hartman, Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, younger son of the late Mr Gordon Hartman and of Mrs Hartman, of Farnham, Surrey, and Claire, daughter of Mr and Mrs Brett Langevad, of Guernsey, Channel Islands.
