The engagement is announced between Thomas, son of Mr and Mrs John Anderson, of Little Harle Tower, Kirkwhelpington, Northumberland, and Amelia, daughter of Sir Hugh and Lady Blackett, of Halton Castle, Corbridge, Northumberland.
