Air Commodore Brian Opie, died peacefully on January 29th 2013. Beloved husband of Merab, devoted father of Helen and Susie and grandfather to Katie, Sophie, Frances and Peter. The friendliest person, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A private cremation will take place at Cheltenham Crematorium South Chapel on Thursday 14th February at 1 p.m. All are welcome to a Service to celebrate his life which will be held on Saturday 16th March at St Denys' Church, Severn Stoke, Worcestershire at 2.30 p.m. Family flowers only, donations if wished to The Royal Air Forces Association or Vale House, Oxford.
