The engagement is announced between Major Ed Treliving, The Royal Tank Regiment, only son of Mr Jeremy Treliving, of Marden, Kent, and Ms Jenny Ashby, of Wingham, Kent, and Chiara, only daughter of Mr Andrew Chilcott, of Pimlico, and Mrs Lucia Chilcott, of Marlborough, Wiltshire.
