The engagement is announced between Henry, younger son of Mr and Mrs Tom Bartlam, of Blounce, Hampshire, and Joanna, daughter of Mr Richard Bracewell, of Eydon, Northamptonshire, and Mrs Nicholas Pugh, of Avonwick, Devon.
