The engagement is announced between Captain Fergus Macdiarmid, The Queen's Royal Hussars (The Queen's Own and Royal Irish), younger son of Mr and the Hon Mrs Rory Macdiarmid, of Babcary, Somerset, and Christina younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Renato Rossetto, of Calgary, Canada.
