The engagement is announced between Alexander, son of Mr and Mrs Derek Johns, of Conock Old Manor, Devizes, Wiltshire, and Samantha, daughter of Mr Nicholas Uglow, of Fulham, London, and Mrs Jane Uglow, of Cottenham Park Road, London.
