The engagement is announced between Thomas, son of Mr Michael Kappler, of Putney, and Mrs Kerstin Kappler, of New Buckenham, Norfolk, and Nicola, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Michael Banks, of Waresley, Bedfordshire.
