Dorothy Laura May (1928-2012). It is with great sadness that we, Andrea Fordham and Brian May, announce the passing of Dorothy May, our beloved 'Auntie Dorothy', or simply 'Auntie', a great lady, the younger daughter of Ernest May (ex 2nd Btln. Grenadier Guards, and City of London Police 1919-1946) and May Caroline Ford May (née Gorham), Auntie Dorothy will be greatly missed by all surviving descendants of her cousins Harold May and Ruth (née Fletcher) and Eve and Ted Martin, and by generations of children she taught in Germany and London (Poplar Primary School). Service at St Mary's Church, Hadlow, TN11 0DB on Monday 25th June at 11 a.m. and after at the Hadlow Manor Hotel.
