The engagement is announced between James, eldest son of Mr Stephen Horrell, of Porlock, Somerset, and Mrs Christina Sheppard, of Bagshot, Surrey, and Amelia, daughter of Mr John Locke, of Hayling Island, Hampshire, and Sarah Jane Locke, of Southampton, Hampshire.
