The engagement is announced between Hamish, eldest son of Mr David Edsell, of Warfield, Berks, and Lucinda, Lady Poole, of Loch Eye, Ross-shire, and Amy, daughter of Mr Christopher Gillam, of Whitwell, North Yorkshire, and Mrs Gilly Gillam, of Halton East, North Yorkshire.
