Dr John Phillips, Q.G.M., aged 89, quietly at home on 28th November in Salisbury, the city in which he had spent his working life as a much loved and well respected local GP. Husband of the late Dr Joan Norris and of Barbara (Hare) who cared for him devotedly to the end. Proud father of William and Mark and grandfather of Georgina, Charlotte, Oliver and Emily. A Service of Thanksgiving for John's life will be held at St Thomas' Church, Salisbury, at 2.30 p.m. on Friday, 14th December.
